"Gaining strength without injuries"
My golf team is using the equipment and gaining strength without the injuries and without the stiffness/soreness. My son is a varsity wrestler and he (and several members of his team) workout with the equipment with great gains. Before strength has been very difficult to blend with golf...always have months of layoffs because of increased tightness. I don't find this at all with Static Contraction Training. My team and my family have had a number of very good experiences and examples.

"Static Contaction Training is the real thing!"
I am a physician by training and have been working out on a variety of weightlifting programs for the past 20 years. I do a lot of traveling now and 18 months ago was in search for a training program that:
1. Builds Strength
2. Can be done in a short time on the week-end
3. Is complementary with aerobic work and flexibility work (i.e. yoga).
No question that the explosive fitness equipment and static contraction training is the real thing !!
Over the last 18 months, I have achieved the following improvements (in pounds)
Wide Grip Bench Press 240 / 500
Close Grip Bench Press 200 / 395
Seated Shoulder Press 200 / 315
Leg Press 730 / 1770
Calf Press 540 / 800
Seated Curl 85 / 150
Seated Ab Crunch 120 / 190
Lat Pulldown 180 / 255
Deadlift 260 / 435
Shrug 190 / 360
This strength has translated into the weight gym with real iron (when I have tested it with full range of motion exercise) as well as in the climbing gym with improved strength to go after those 5.11 routes. The barriers to getting improvement have been learning the right technique and with the new XF7000, it is much easier to quickly learn the right way quickly. I have never gotten results so quickly with relatively little time working out [ there's a lot of effort during the workout!] .

"I will be a lifelong athlete using SCT"
Buying the system from your company about a year ago is one of the best fitness decisions that I have ever made. A recent colleague from my former conventional training days, saw me in the hall and said 'Jeff I can't believe how good you look, you've gotten big'. I have recently started playing tennis again and I can't believe my ground strokes - they're like cannon-fire! I almost beat the pro on vacation in the British Virgin Islands and got my lesson free...
Static contraction training is so counterintuitive, less reps, less time, takes fifteen minutes. With four kids and a time-challenged lifestyle as a Neurosurgeon, this thing is perfect. When Tony Robbins first introduced me to Pete Sisco and SCT (before your machines came out), it used to take me most of my workout time just to stack all of the plates and search for strong spotters, now its a breeze with your units. Between that and [Pete's] computerized trainer, [MyStrengthCoach.com], weight training is fun and stress free and fast...usually 15-20 minutes with warm-up. I am bulky, defined and excelling in tennis. I have maintained flexibility and I am still able to do brain surgery - all at 47. And by the way, at 6'6' I fit into the unit with room to spare.
I will be a lifelong SCT-trained athlete that uses the SCT machines designed by Explosive Fitness.
Thank you,
Jeffrey H. Oppenheimer, MD
"Coach, I could hold this position all day"
Our players increased the size of their quads by 1.5 inches in 6 weeks... and these were not under conditioned athletes... in fact, two of them had just got done competing in the Track and Field State Finals!" "Without question, the Explosive Fitness Equipment has increased our players work capacity and in turn has made the various demands of our sport much less demanding. One of my players recently told me, 'Coach I could hold this defensive position all day.' Music to my ears to say the least!

"If you want power and muscle size..."
Constantine is 57 years old and has been a personal trainer and fitness professional in Canada and the United States for over 27 years. He has extensive expertise in Jujitsu, Karate, Kung Fu, Yoga, Chi Gong and strength training spanning over 40 years. As well he has been a professional choreographer/dancer and yoga instructor for 35 years. He has trained a number of top bodybuilding champions, choreographed their posing routines, and helped them increase their muscle size and flexibility.
I spent six months working at the Explosive Fitness factory in 2003 training clients and helping to refine the Explosive Fitness training protocols – I am intimately familiar with this equipment and the best ways to train on it.
In all my years of training and teaching high-performance athletes, martial artists and dancers, I have never come across a system of training as powerful and immediate in results as the Explosive Fitness Machine and training protocol.
I have trained upwards of 100 clients on this equipment and the benefits for muscle gain and nervous system integration have been remarkable. In addition to muscle gain, this equipment and training system has benefits for rehabilitation from injury that are off the charts.
One of my clients trained with me for six months an average of 3 – 4 sessions a month and gained 15 pounds in that time period – he had previously gained about that much in 10 years of traditional “gym” weight training. Besides training individuals with this equipment I also worked with the USA’s 5th rated women’s college volleyball team where they did extensive before and after testing on vertical jump height and thigh muscle size and density measurements. This system is ideal for training extreme athletes in any field, especially football, basketball, volleyball, soccer and bodybuilding.
It is my belief that if you want power and muscle size, there is no better way to go about it than the Explosive Fitness System. Train smart, not long.

"We maxed out our equipment and broke a weight machine!"
My son (an intercollegiate wrestler) and I had been doing static resistance training for about 10 weeks. Around this time we maxed out our available equipment, broke a weight machine and had a couple close calls with very heavy weight. Although we have not been using your leg press and upper body machine very long (3 weeks leg press, 2 weeks upper body), we are very pleased and impressed with the quality and safety of your equipment. It is every bit as good as your web page indicates.

"Every coach in the world would want this"
If you took away the system's gains in lean muscle mass, if you took away the system's gains in explosive power, if all you were left with was the way the system increases the athlete's work capacity, every coach in the world would want this.

"We notice results right away"
Professional Quote from Ken Henderson; Head Trainer, Barton College
For someone trying to get back into a fitness routine, "Explosive Fitness" has proven to be the perfect tool. The lifts are easy to learn and workouts fit my busy schedule. I did not experience any delayed muscle pain or joint discomfort. From the first exercise session, daily aches and pains disappeared and sitting at my desk was no longer uncomfortable.
The Explosive Fitness program reduces stress on the joints while allowing athletes to maximally work selected muscle groups. The time commitment is minimal. Our athletes who have used this program notice results right away.
"Conventional training is just frustrating..."
Yes, my muscles keep coming
Training the conventional way with conventional equipment was just frustrating. I did it for 2 years (that's commitment, isn't it?) and did advance only slightly. I guess the training methods I was taught would only have worked to some degree, if I'd gone to the gym on a daily basis, twice.
I am delighted that I don't ever again have to worry about running out of weights for leg press exercises, that I don't anymore have to go to that one old dirty gym, which alone had equipment halfway suitable for static contraction training; I am glad that I can do it alone, because when my wife didn't wish to workout anymore I could not find another body to help me put the conventional equipment onto the right range of moving, which prevented me from exercising at all for almost 2 long years and I find this equipment extremely thought through: imagine using only one equipment to do all your exercises! Where else do you get this? And this even in your own home! Awesome! I like it.
And yes, my muscles keep coming back and I hope I got the equipment enough in time to enhance my legs for my first marathon to come end of august!

"I encourage you to consider this equipment"
At one time I was training for triathalons. I ran 10-15 miles, biked 36 miles (over 50 on weekends), had reached advanced weight lifting, and was swimming 1-2 miles. This routines was a two day rotation.
My interest in XF equipmment was initially because of its efficiency - I have previously spent hours and hours training and did not want to devote that kind of time again.
I have several physical difficulties, including knees that I cannot depend on.
I have been extremely pleased to discover that no matter how much I exert with the XF equipment, my knees and other joints have been able to handle it. I attribute this primarily to working within the strongest range of motion, rather than subjecting my joints to areas of weakness that my joints can not endure.
I definitely would encourage people to consider this equipment.

"An unbelievable difference in my performance"
At 53 Adding XF training to my aerobics program has made an unbelievable difference in my performance on those 30+ mile mountain hikes with a 40 lb pack on my back.
Sure my numbers have increased dramatically. But the real kick for me is keeping up with those '20 somethings' on the trail.

"The XF system is one that be be continued for a life time!"
This is the only program that I have been able to keep doing.
I have worked out with Nautilas at MTU and have had gym memberships over the years off and on, working out 3 days a week with their programs. I owned a Bowflex but didn't work out with any regularity. I would do it for a couple of months and then not touch it for months.
I began using the XF 5000 and the XF 2000 in October,2004. My results have been very positive. I have lost body fat and gained muscle. This is the only program that I have been able to keep doing without dropping out because the results were steady without the hours of work with other programs.
I am an avid golfer and so when our season began this spring the strength training over the winter paid off. I was driving the golf ball 20 to 30 yards farther that the previous year. It has helped me with my cross country skiing also. When the XF 7000 came out, I bought it and am using it now. I like the precise way it sets up for all body types. I also want to say that in 10 months I have only missed 1 workout. Amazing for me who never stuck to any other strength training program for very long. The XF system is one that can be continued for a lifetime. Thank you!

"Added 10m to his drive after 6 sessions!"
Hi Peter, good to hear about your progress. One of my students (a regular golfer) added 10m to his drive after only 6 training sessions which brought him on par with his instructor who was somewhat amazed at the sudden improvement

"I can run faster and hit a baseball further"
Body fat from 11% to 6.5%.
I trained Conventional full range, 3 days a week program for 9 months until I read Pete's ebook. 2 months later the leg press was released and I was as anxious as ever to get my hands on one. I finally got both the leg press and the upper body unit about 7-8 months ago. Before that, I had been training the upper body in the gym with the SCT method.
Amazing equipment. Due to me being out of town a lot, I haven't been able to take full advantage of the equipment; however, it has changed both my strength and body image over the time I have trained on it. I can jump 2-3 inches higher and my body composition of fat has gone from 11 to 6.5% in the last 6 months. I can run faster and hit a baseball further objectively. Just the 10-15 minutes I spend every 10-15 days training on this equipment is worth its money. The feeling of releasing such immense power on something and gaining results from it is great!

"Joint pain is gone, strength has increased"
I am a 48 year old physician and have been using Explosive Fitness equipment for about one year. Previously, I have trained for 30 years using free-weights. My joints have really taken a beating lifting full range of motion with little progress. Since starting SCT with this equipment, my joint pain is gone and my strength has increased. I have more time for other pursuits.
Numerous people in my jui-jitsu class have remarked that my functional strength has increased markedly since starting SCT.
I have used the EF-2000 and 5000 but find my current EF-7000 to be much superior. I'd be happy to demonstrate to anyone who is sincere in their desire to improve their health and fitness.
Sincerely,

"Martial Artist for 8 years..."
This is my favorite thing I own.
I've been a martial artist for 8 years, so most of my training has centered around that. I've done high reps low weight, that was supposed to make you faster. I've done full range reps so you don't "make you muscle short." I've heard it all, and tried most of it, with not much results to show for it.
The XF equipment is AMAZING AND INGENIOUS. I have tried free weights, joined gyms, I even bought one of those Crossbow machines, nothing even comes close.
I'm a numbers guy. I've can prove empirically that this machine works. I've got the real live data to show anyone, anytime that this equipment has worked for me and my friends that have used it. This is my favorite thing I own, and I am always ecstatic to show someone new and explain the science behind how it works, and that any other way of training is just silly.

"Consistent gains in strength..."
I am a long time Aikido enthusiast. I have gone through periods of fairly regular strength training using machines at gyms.
I have enjoyed working with the systems and look forward to taking delivery of the new model. I have made good consistent gains in strength over the roughly 12 months I have been using the equipment and currently work out only once every two weeks.
I am happy to talk to and demonstrate it for interested people in my area.

"The equipment is completely safe"
After 4 workouts I feel stronger and everything else I do comes easier because of the added strength - climbing stairs, yard work, martial arts, running.
I don't have to worry about heavy weights falling on me because the equipment is completely safe.
In 2 workouts my leg press went from 953lb to 1267lb and bench press from 393lb to 465lb

"Reduced my body fat 8% in just weeks"
This equipment truly changed everything I thought I knew about working out and exercise equipment.
I was a police officers for 12 years. It was important to stay in shape, not just as a matter of aesthetics, but of preserving life and limb! In that time, all I knew was traditional, or high-intensity training (HIT). I worked out that way for years and years, making some gains and being in relatively good condition.
Then I suffered a lower back injury at work and was sent off to early retirement since I could no longer wear all of the equipment, nor confidently perform my duties knowing my back may give out at any moment and endanger myself and others. This unfortunate turn in my life sent me into a spiral of weight gain and muscle loss - I was much heavier and much weaker than I was in my prime. I suppose we could all say that, although my decline was far more drastic due to the injury. I continued to try to lift weights and exercise in the traditional way and found that I was experiencing more setbacks than gains. I'd be fine for three weeks, then I would suffer a recurrence and be back where I started from, sometimes worse off than before - One step forward and two steps back it seemed.
This prompted my exploration into other methods of weight training. I found Static Contraction Training watching a seminar by Tony Robbins. Of all the information that I gained that day, Static Contraction Training and Power Factor Training were among the most valuable tidbits. I've read all the books on both and tried Power Factor Training for a short time. It was great, but really just whetted my appetite for Static Contraction Training!
The problem with Static Contraction Training is that most gyms are not equipped to deal with the intense weights that one is capable of lifting with this method. I found this out quickly and ordered the original static training equipment from Explosive Fitness. This equipment truly changed everything I thought I knew about working out and exercise equipment.
I made significant gains in strength and reduced my body fat 8% in a matter of weeks.
Best of all - I had NO setbacks due to recurring injuries with my back!
Then the new XF7000 came along promising the same high quality, less floor space use, ease in exercise changes, and most importantly, the same great workout with some better body positioning. I was sold on it immediately and bought it right after I received the email from Tony Reno advertising it.
I've used it since July 2005 and have to say, Explosive Fitness has delivered on their promise and I am a true believer in this equipment and this method of gaining muscle!

"It is helping me to save lives"
The thing I like the most about it that I've never really been into weight lifting, but I've always wanted to add strength, it is easy to use, easy to set up, the workouts are quick. For someone who has spent a lot of time working out is that it is great to see regular gains with the equipment and very little time spent.
I am a Computer Chip Designer, so I don't have time to spend three days a week doing workouts. But I'm also a volunteer firefighter, and being in good shape is very important to me. I've already noted that the added strength has helped me out with handling the Jaws of Life made it easier to handle for rescuing people from automotive crashes. So it isn't only helping me out physically, it is helping me to save lives.
I think this equipment is very well made, and perfect for any fire station or any emergency rescue agency that needs to get it's members in shape, and keep them in shape. It allows people to get in shape with very little time. I'm getting stronger every workout, and I am only working out once every 10 days. It lets people have time for the other importanting things in their life, without having to compromise on the results.

"First time in 4 years I can hold the pose..."
I ordered the static contraction equipment and did my first workout on June 27. In the first 21 days I noticed a big difference in my yoga practice. I am 35 years old and I've been practicing hatha yoga 1-2 times per week for the last 4 years, and yet certain very common poses always seemed to be challenging to hold.
A pose called Warrior II is very intense on the quads/thighs and normally I can't hold it for very long without either having to adjust my position in the pose, my muscles shaking, or having to come out of it altogether. For the first time in 4 years I was able to hold the pose for an extended time without any of that happening.
The second pose that has been a challenge for me is called 4-limb staff pose, which is intense on the triceps. I noticed that it was very easy to move through this pose slowly and smoothly. And after 3 or 4 tries I was always too worn out to do any more.
Last week in class got into a hand stand and held it (free form on an open floor) for more than a minute!! When we did a second round I was able to hold another hand stand for at least 30 seconds before coming out.
I found them to be easy, and afterwards my arms were not tired, and wrists did not hurt.

"The increase in strength was so dramatic..."
I'm a professional trainer to amateur and professional athletes, and I first tested static contraction training on regular equipment. It didn't take us long to decde to get the equipment. Due to the nature of my clientele, I have to have the most advanced equipment available.
We purchased the first set of equipment on the 60 day trial, but quickly decided to purchase a second set for our facility as well, as this totally changed the way we look at training. Not only physically but psychologically.
Even with static contraction training (and that was a big improvement over anything before it) the mental goal was always to lift the weight that was there. But now the mental goal suddenly becomes to give it everything you've got, and that changes everything.
The system is night and day over anything before it. There is nothing like it.
If I got on a machine and it had 80 lbs, then that was the most I could possibly lift, even if I might be able to lift 10, 20 or even 50 lbs more than that. But with the explosive fitness equipment my clients can push the very limits of their capacity, every single workout.
The increase in stength was so dramatic so quick, most people couldn't believe it. It has also changed their thinking when they worked out. They felt like they could push or do more than they were originally doing, because now they realized there were no limits.
They had a lot more power to give when they worked out.
My clients include both professional and amatuer athletes, and the all out effort is unique among exercise equipment. Golfers hit the ball farther, baseball players hit the ball harder and they've all felt more explosive power.
Athletes like to spend as much time as they can on their skills, and in that way they are like all busy people. Finally, there's a workout that fits fits into every busy person's schedule.

Interview with Chris Verna
Lois: How long have you been using the system altogether?
Chris: I've had it now, since September.
Lois: And have you been doing static contraction training before?
Chris: Yes I have, I did 6 months before that.
Lois: And what kind of equipment were you using?
Chris: I was using {A high end commercial system}.
Lois: And how would you compare the two systems of equipment?
Chris: It's night and day. I mean Explosive Fitness is much better.
Lois: Are you using it for personal use, or are you training others.
Chris: I have a personal training center. I have probably a dozen people training on it.
Lois: And how are they liking it?
Chris: They all really like it.
Lois: Any comments or any examples you can share?
Chris: I have professionals as well as amateur athletes using it, and they're all getting stronger. I went personally, on the leg press, from 770 to 2167
Lois: And the last question, would you be willing to demonstrate the equipment to others?
Chris: Oh yeah, I just showed the {professional team} coaches the system, I have professional athletes who are thinking about getting it for their teams, and stuff like that.
Lois: And that's all I have for you. Thank you so much Chris.
